Tears of Crimson

Some Fairy Tales Should Never Be Outgrown

Introductions (The Academy) (Volume 1)

Introductions - C.L. Stone Let me say that I ran across this book completely by mistake. I'm more of a contemporary romance/erotica fan. I don't know exactly what it is that pulls me so deeply into these books, what I do know is I can't stop reading them. I'm on book four now! I would let my teenage daughters read this and if I had to make an educated guess, I'd say that was the author’s targeted audience. Incredible characters a group of high school boys that take a young high school girl that's been abused under their wing. The thing this girl suffers will make the reader cringe.

They belong to a secret organization and in book four you're still trying to find out what it's all about. This part of the story is the mystery that keeps you wondering. That being said the relationship between these guys and the girl is never passionate but there are undertones that hint that ... maybe not even that ... you just see the potential for when she's older? Like I said I still haven't figured out why I'm so obsessed with these stories.

The Academy has pulled me in and I'm just intrigued.
